The position

Job description

At Wooclap, we believe in making learning more interactive and meaningful. Our platform helps educators engage their students in dynamic ways, driving better understanding and retention.

We’re looking for two Fullstack Developer Interns, each joining a different squad:

  • Core Squad (Wooboard): Develop and refine Wooboard, our internal admin tool that supports daily operations.

  • Acquisition Squad (Website & Growth): Enhance user acquisition and improve the website experience through data-driven experiments and conversion optimization.

💪 What you might do in the Core Squad (Wooboard)

  • Frontend Development: Build reusable React components, write modular CSS, and ensure maintainable and testable code for a highly usable internal tool.

  • Backend Development: Develop Node.js APIs and services to create a scalable, robust backend infrastructure that supports Wooboard’s functionalities.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with product and business teams to gather requirements and create intuitive experiences for internal stakeholders.

  • Continuous Delivery: Break down complex features into manageable tasks, ship new features regularly, and own your work from end to end.

💪 What you might do in the Acquisition Squad (Website & Growth)

  • User Acquisition & Funnel Optimization: Build and refine lead generation funnels and user journeys, contributing to improved sign-ups, activation, and conversion rates.

  • Frontend & CMS Work: Develop landing pages using modern frontend frameworks and our CMS (e.g., Prismic) to deliver dynamic, SEO-friendly pages.

  • Data-Driven Enhancements: Experiment with A/B testing, data analysis, and web analytics tools to inform technical decisions and growth strategies.

  • Automation & Integrations: Test scraping methods, automate tasks, and implement marketing/sales workflows to strengthen our outbound strategy.

📦 Package

  • Paid internship based in Brussels in the dynamic and central co-working space of ICAB.

  • Training and development: 75 euros from Woocredit to enable you to purchase learning resources (online courses, books, etc.) during your internship

  • Meals: €8 meal vouchers per day worked with the Pluxee card

  • Public transport: Reimbursement of up to 50€ per month

  • Work equipment: Loan of a Macbook to work in the best conditions.

  • Reimbursement of the cost of mobile subscription up to €50 per month.

Preferred experience

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s or final-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js, React, HTML, CSS).

  • Experience or strong interest in backend technologies (Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB) and frontend frameworks (React).

  • Pragmatic and user-focused mindset: you understand that technology is a means to achieve business and product goals.

  • A problem-solver who can break down complex issues and seek effective solutions, knowing when to ask for help.

  • A team player who enjoys knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Attention to quality: you care about clean code, testing, and maintaining good documentation.

  • For the Acquisition Squad role, familiarity with data analysis, A/B testing, and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel) is a plus.

Note: We don’t expect you to master all these skills from day one. We’re here to support your growth and help you learn throughout your internship.
