The position

Job description

As a Product Designer at Wooclap, your mission will be to leverage your UI and UX expertise to make our product even more engaging and pleasant to use.

To that end, you will work closely with our User Engagement and Monetisation squads, focusing on driving user activation & retention, and enabling users to upgrade to more comprehensive plans. In these missions, your scope will span both our main application and our public website.

Responsibilities

  • Create impactful and engaging designs using user research, data analysis, sketching and prototyping

  • Contribute to project scoping and problem framing thanks to your design expertise and focus on both user & business needs

  • Validate and improve your designs by doing user tests and by challenging your hypotheses with the rest of the team

  • Work hand in hand with the product managers, developers, and marketing team to improve engagement and monetisation in our product

  • Iterate on quick solutions to learn and adapt your designs according to what drives user engagement & conversion forward

  • Drive our visual identity forward thanks to appealing designs and well-crafted micro-interactions

  • Be an active member of our design team, by taking part in design critiques and contributing to our design system’s implementation and evolution

Preferred experience

  • Proven expertise in Product design, with a focus on user engagement, experience with accessibility is a plus.

  • Strong UI/UX skills, with an emphasis on interaction design

  • Analytical skills and an ability to conduct user research and to analyse data

  • An understanding and interest for SaaS business models, freemium conversion, and product-led growth strategies

  • Meticulous: You demonstrate keen attention to detail in both your designs and your copy.

  • Collaborative: You enjoy working across teams and disciplines, collaborating with product managers and developers, but also marketing and customer success teams.

  • Adaptable: You know that design is an iterative process, and care more about learning new insights and adapting your designs accordingly rather than designing a full-fledged solution from the start.

  • Data-informed: You have an analytical mindset and can leverage data to inform design choices.

  • Proficiency in both English and French (we are an English-first company)
