What we need…

As a People Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering across all HR operational services. This is a hybrid role of strategic and delivery, reporting directly into the VP of People supporting across operations such as employee onboarding and data management to compliance and engagement initiatives. You'll work closely with stakeholders across departments to ensure our people operations align with company objectives and create a seamless employee experience.

What you'll do…

  1. Employee Lifecycle Management
    • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth experience for employees.

    • Maintaining and amending employee records along with management of our HRIS (HiBob).

    • Coordinate probationary reviews with managers

  2. HR Operations and Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with UK employment laws, company policies and updating with legal requirements.

    • Support in drafting contracts, policies, and employee documentation.

    • Conduct audits to ensure HR records and processes are up-to-date and compliant.

  3. Payroll and Benefits Administration
    • Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely processing.

    • Manage employee benefits enrolment and administration.

  4. Employee Engagement and Culture
    • Assist with the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives.

    • Provide support for learning and development programmes.

    • Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, fostering a positive workplace culture.

  5. Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Generate HR reports and insights to inform business decisions.

    • Monitor key HR metrics such as retention, absence, and engagement rates.

What you have...

  • Proven experience in an HR or People Operations role, preferably within the UK.

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment laws and HR best practices.

  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in a rapidly growing or dynamic organisation.

  • Familiarity with employee engagement tools and HR analytics platforms.
