The position

Job description

You are the driving force behind growing Zenchef’s team, ensuring we attract and hire exceptional talent to fuel our mission of empowering restaurants across Europe. In this role, you combine hands-on recruitment with leadership, managing and mentoring a Junior Talent Acquisition Manager while directly contributing to our hiring success.

Your team:
You will join our People & Culture team, a passionate group committed to making Zenchef a place where talented individuals can thrive. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will work closely with hiring managers across departments and oversee the recruitment function, from our Amsterdam office.

What you will do:

  • Build the Zenchef hiring machine, by picking the best methods and processes as well as onboarding and teaching all members of the interviewing team to be on their A-game

  • Mentor and oversee the Junior Talent Acquisition Manager, supporting their growth and development.

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for your own list of roles, from posting to offer, ensuring a top-notch candidate experience.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.

  • Use recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Recruitee) to maintain an organized, effective hiring pipeline.

  • Build and maintain relationships with recruitment partners, job boards, and other sourcing channels.

  • Drive employer branding initiatives, including social media campaigns, career events, and internal projects, to position Zenchef as an employer of choice.

  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and refine strategies, improving time-to-hire and quality of candidates.

  • Champion diversity and inclusion efforts, ensuring we build a team that reflects our values and mission.

  • Build long-term talent pipelines for high-demand roles and forecast future hiring needs.

  • Stay up-to-date on recruitment trends and innovations, continuously improving our hiring processes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 1 year of managing or mentoring other recruiters.

  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end recruitment processes for diverse roles, including technical and non-technical positions.

  • A strategic mindset paired with a hands-on approach to managing multiple roles simultaneously.

  • Expertise in using recruitment tools and platforms, including LinkedIn, ATS systems (e.g., Recruitee), and job boards.

  • Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics and propose improvements.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with hiring managers, candidates, and your team.

  • Fluency in French (written and spoken) and at least C1-level proficiency in English.

  • A genuine interest and experience in hiring best practices
