The position

Job description

Your purpose:
You are the driving force behind growing our team, helping Zenchef find, attract, and hire exceptional talent. Your role ensures we bring in individuals who align with our values and support our mission to empower restaurants across Europe.

Your team:
You will join our People & Culture team, a group dedicated to making Zenchef a great place to work. Our mission is to attract, engage, and retain top talent, fostering a collaborative and supportive workplace where everyone thrives. You will report to the Talent Acquisition Lead, based in Amsterdam.

What you will do:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and create tailored hiring plans.

  • Post job openings on relevant platforms to maximize visibility and attract the best candidates.

  • Screen and shortlist candidates using structured methods to ensure a great match for each role.

  • Coordinate and conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidates’ skills and alignment with Zenchef’s culture.

  • Manage and improve the candidate experience, keeping them engaged and informed at every stage of the process.

  • Use our applicant tracking system to track applicants and maintain an organized hiring pipeline.

  • Build and nurture talent pools for current and future hiring needs.

  • Collaborate with the People & Culture team on employer branding initiatives, including social media and events.

  • Analyze recruitment data to refine processes and improve hiring outcomes.

Requirements:

What you will bring to the table:

  • At least 1 year of experience in recruitment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and hiring teams

  • Proven ability to manage multiple roles and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with recruitment tools and platforms, such as LinkedIn, job boards, and applicant tracking systems (we use Recruitee).

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in every task.

  • Fluency in French (written and spoken) and at least C1 level English.

  • A genuine interest and experience in hiring best practices
