We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee and manage the company’s financial health. This individual will be responsible for driving financial planning, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and implementing internal controls. The ideal candidate will provide insightful analysis to support decision-making and contribute to the company’s overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities 

• Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Preparation and submission of accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts (RRR Alvest Package).

  • Conduct thorough variance analysis, providing key insights on financial performance and trends.

  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).

• Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to align goals.

  • Prepare rolling forecasts and long-term financial planning.

  • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.

• Internal Controls & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies.

  • Support on internal audits to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance.

  • Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely audit completion.

• Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor and optimize cash flow, ensuring the business maintains sufficient working capital.

  • Monitor the company’s liquidity, investments, and financial risks.

  • Ensure financing of assets.

• Cost Control & Efficiency:

  • Analyze operational costs and propose cost-saving measures.

  • Collaborate with departments to ensure cost-effective strategies are implemented.

  • Commercial Margin Analysis.

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

• In-depth understanding of financial reporting, accounting, and budgeting processes.

• Proficiency with financial systems (ERP systems such as INFOR, SAP, Oracle, etc.).

• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Languages : English (French/Dutch are a plus)
