WebMethods Developer position | 100% remote | Freelance

Responsibilities:  

• WebMethods Developer to help design, develop, and maintain WebMethods integration solutions, ensuring smooth data and process flow throughout the organization.
• Collaborate on new developments and maintain various WebMethods software projects.

What we are looking for:

Minimum of 5 years of experience developing with webMethods versions 9.x / 10.x.webMethods

Required technologies:

• Data Types: XML, JSON, Flat File
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, ElasticSearch, MongoDB
• Messaging and Events: Kafka, Confluent Kafka Platform, JMS
• Web Services: REST and SOAP
• Communication Protocols: HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP, FTP, JMS, SOAP

Required Knowledge:

• Flat File, REST Resources, Web Service Descriptor, Flow Service, Adapter Service, JMS Triggers

Preferred Knowledge:

• My webMethods Server and/or Integration Server

• Java: Microservices, SpringBoot, SpringData, SpringMVC

• Unit and Integration Testing: JUnit, Mockito
• SOLID principles and Clean Code practices

Additional valuable knowledge:

Containerization

Experience in collaborative work environments, pair programming, code review, etc.
