Location: In Office, Paris Issy-les-Moulineaux. This role requires in office work 4-5 days/week.

Fully integrated in the Algorithms team, your role is to explore, specify and develop the next generation algorithms. Internship subject brief description

The purpose of this internship is to study the online optimization of camera codec settings using a machine-learning approach and state-of-the-art encoding metrics. The codec controller will be evaluated while exploring various compromises on quality, bitrate and power consumption.

What You Will Do

• Build, improve and propose new innovative tools for image quality optimization
• Test and validate on GoPro devices, photo and video content

Skills We’re Stoked About

• Solid background in Computer science and Development
• Knowledge of machine-learning and codec basics
• Strong technical skills in Python and C/C++
• Technical English and French practice required
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Interest for photography and image processing is a plus
