As our Interim Group Chief Financial Officer:

  • Reporting to the CEO you will lead a diverse and international finance team as a key member of the Management Team and an invited Board Partner.
  • As a member of the Management Team (Malt X), provide strategic financial leadership to align the finance team's efforts with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Oversee a team of 30 Malters, ensuring their road maps and contributions align with the company's financial goals.
  • Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes 
  • Collaborate closely with the Manage Team and leadership group to provide insightful financial analysis and support strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for financial communication with investors, delivering clear and comprehensive updates on the company's financial performance, strategies, and outlook.
  • Inspire and motivate the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Leverage your expertise in B2B finance to optimize revenue, profitability, and growth, challenging the status quo and driving continuous improvement.
  • Proactively plan for the future of Malt's payment solutions, exploring opportunities to optimize this critical USP, such as creating a dedicated fund or pursuing further strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including financial reporting, compliance, and tax planning, ensuring the company complies with IFRS reporting standards.
  • Be a gatekeeper of financial controls and processes, implementing lean yet effective measures to ensure efficient scaling and financial integrity.
