Key responsibilities
Collaborate with Data Science and Machine Learning teams to identify requirements and build the next evolution of the data platform, meeting the operational and security needs.
Design, build, maintain and monitor the compute infrastructure on AWS used by the data-scientists and the applications.
Develop, build, maintain and monitor real-time data pipelines to continuously run inference in production.
Improve the performance of data pipelines to handle the ingestion of large volume of data daily.
Establish best practices and promote them to the Collaborate with Data Analytics and Data Science teams.
Monitor and optimise the AWS cloud costs and adopt a FinOps approach to build a cost-effective solution.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies and tools in analytics engineering.
Skills needed for the role
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on complex and ambiguous problems.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively.
Strong knowledge of AWS, Terraform and Python.
Familiarity with System Administration.
Fluency in English and French.
Location: Paris based, 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.
