In our Microservices team, we are starting a complete rewrite of user services from scratch with a strong emphasis on clean code, and we are looking for reinforcement. We are seeking a mid-level developer for a full-time position (HPP) to work primarily on-site in Brno.

What will you do?

• You will analyze requirements and design effective solutions.

• Work on the development and implementation of new features or services.

• Write tests and test API, performance testing.

• Prepare development, testing, and production environments for running services.

• Write documentation and create diagrams.

• Deploy, fix bugs, maintain, and manage both new and existing services.

• Monitor and oversee all services that our team is responsible for.

What are we looking for?

• Solid experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Great knowledge of Node.js.

• Experience with a NoSQL database.

• Experience in designing APIs, ideally RESTful APIs.

• A desire for continuous learning and improvement.

We will be extra happy if you have

• Knowledge of GraphQL.

• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with MongoDB and Elasticsearch.

• Awareness of TimescaleDB and Redis.

• Experience with CI/CD, preferably GitLab CI.

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
