WHY WE NEED YOU?

Our growth is driving us to strengthen our Serverless Database (SDB) team to support the development and scaling of our new Data Warehouse product.

 Your mission will be to design, build, and operate modern cloud-native database services in order to deliver a seamless and efficient developer experience with our Serverless SQL and upcoming Data Warehouse offerings.

YOUR FUTURE TEAM

We work in a collaborative and international environment where the diversity of Scalers, combined with a spirit of sharing, helps bring new projects to life every day, advancing our ambitions together.

 You will be part of a team of 4 people, including senior and mid-level engineers, working in Agile methodology with two-week sprints and regular ceremonies (daily stand-ups, retrospectives, etc.).

 The team builds and operates the Serverless SQL Database (SSDB) and is currently developing a new Data Warehouse product based on ClickHouse.

Julien Rouzières is the Engineering Manager, leading the Serverless SQL Databases team. With 20+ years in tech, he brings deep expertise in backend systems, Go, and cloud infrastructure, following leadership roles at Ringover and engineering positions across major French tech firms.

YOUR DAILY ROUTINE

- Design and implement features for our Serverless SQL and Data Warehouse products

- Ensure high availability and reliability of the services you operate

- Collaborate with product and platform teams to improve user experience and performance

- Participate in on-call rotation to ensure service uptime

- Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge sharing

- Work closely with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab

- Monitor and debug production issues using observability tools

-Containerize services and manage infrastructure with Kubernetes and Helm

- Automate database provisioning and scaling operations

ABOUT YOU

💻 HARDSKILLS:

- Solid experience with Golang in a production environment

- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker

-Good understanding of PostgreSQL and ClickHouse

-Experience with GitLab CI/CD

-Familiarity with cloud environments and infrastructure as code
