You will join the Industrial Automation Strategy team, which is responsible for shaping and driving Industrial Automation strategy to meet Schneider Electric goals and objectives.As a Strategy Planning Director, you will be responsible for developing transformative strategic thinking and idea generation for our industrial automation business for growt In a rapidly changing landscape, constantly bringing new/ external perspective will be critical.You will be expected to collaborate with teams across the company to ensure the strategies deployed are the most innovative and impactful.This is an Individual contributor role, joining a core team of ~10 Strategy and transformation leaders and a Strategy community of 20+ across IA.Main missions for this role : Strategy management processManage for the Industrial Automation BU, in link with Corporate Strategy, the execution of the company's strategy processes and content.Industrial Automation Strategy projectsLead strategic studies to explore new areas of growth and acceleration on achievement of objectives;

  • Structure strategic studies defining key questions to be addressed, workstreams, key analyses, workplan and project governance
  • Conduct analyses and derive implications for the business
  • Formulate actionable/ pragmatic recommendations for the business
  • Ensure alignment of stakeholders prior to key project milestones
  • Prepare for effective management communications of project findings and proposed recommendations for decision-making
  • Coordinate the governance of streams, supporting and challenging key stakeholders
  • Check-in on deliverables and measure impact
  • Support the development and execution of the Industrial Automation strategic plan

  • Maintain a keen awareness of competition and keep senior management abreast through effective communication
Your profile :
  • MBA or Masters degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering
  • 5+ years minimum experience in strategy consulting
  • Strong track record in implementing innovative solutions for evolving market trends, bringing business growth
  • Proven track record of leading large, complex, transversal, business transformations & changes programs
  • Strong business acumen project management skills, successful teaming with colleagues, and results orientation
  • Strategic thinking competences and excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative analyses into clear messages and recommendations for different types of audience
  • Natural leadership + strong execution capability to think several steps ahead and take proactive steps to address roadblocks and issues.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for understanding the fundamental drivers of automation and software business success and competitive advantage
  • A high level of enthusiasm for building business, problem solving to overcome obstacles
  • Credibility as a trusted advisor and thought leader
  • English fluent mandatory, French as a plus
  • Nb : no relocation proposed for this role, the candidate needs to be already based in France
