John Cockerill and Technip Energies, two industrial leaders in the hydrogen market, have announced the launch of Rely, a unique provider of integrated and competitive green hydrogen solutions.

Rely will address the industrial and utility project market with the ambition to reach a turnover of more than one billion euros by 2030.

Headquartered in Brussels, Rely is 60% owned by Technip Energies, 40% by John Cockerill, and led by Damien Eyriès of Technip Energies as Chief Executive Officer.

Upon its creation, the new company will benefit from the services of more than 200 hydrogen specialists.

Controlling the cost of producing molecules at each stage is a key element of Rely's strategy and the competitiveness of our offer in all markets. 

Position Summary

Digital Analyst Rely oversees the support of RELY's leadership team in their digital transformation programs. This role serves as a reliable and efficient point of contact, helping to shape IT methodologies and ensure the successful implementation of ongoing projects.

The Rely Digital Analyst acts as a project contributor to specify, organize, analyze, deliver, deploy, and maintain all layers of software components to ensure the proper functioning of computer systems.

The duration of the position is 6 months on an internship contract, starting in December 2024. The position reports to the IT Manager of RELY and is located in Paris; some trips are planned to Belgium.

The main scope of responsibility of the Rely Digital Analyst

1)         Supporting the digital business model

• Assist in the development of digital business strategies to drive growth and efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, and operations, to support digital transformation projects:
• Levelized cost of hydrogen 
• Capital expenditure efficiency
• Risk management and simulations
• Analyze data to identify opportunities and areas for improvement in digital processes.
• Promote "digital culture" and new tools in the team

2)         Improving the digital operating model

• Identify improvements to the company's operational processes to increase efficiency
• Assist in the project management of the core team's applications to facilitate daily work
• ERP
• Travel and expenses
• Banking Software
• Human Resources Tools
• Develop KPIs for reporting and tracking with Power BI and PowerApps
• Dealing with first-level incidents or anomalies: diagnosis, identification, formulation of solutions
• Participate in the study of new digital technology solutions for new identified use cases
• Ensure consistency and compliance and anticipate tool overlaps and conflicts (mappings)

3)         Develop internal tools

• Create automations to effectively simplify teamwork or existing processes
• Explore impact analysis opportunities to improve existing applications and work processes
• Assist in the improvement and delivery of the IT knowledge base
• Facilitate training sessions on new digital tools and processes to enhance team capabilities
• Create and maintain user documentation, provide training on all IT policies
