As a key player of the legal Department, you will play a transversal and strategic role.

You will advise Product managers on a constantly-evolving portfolio of product offerings and be a dedicated point of contact of Product Managers and Directors.

You will be a product expert in the Legal Department and will support other lawyers on Product centric questions.

You will create engaging user experiences for our customers whilst ensuring everything is compliant with the applicable laws.

Your missions

Your main missions will be the following:

• Create compelling risk-managed user experiences and play a strategic role in ensuring that :
  • our products/Platform align with regulations applicable during the product development, launch and post-launch phases.
  • our contracts template, business models and offers align with regulations applicable.
  • the processing of personal data of our prospects, clients and users is compliant with all regulations and their rights are protected.

• Participate in the development and implementation of a legal strategy to reduce the risk of disputes and litigations while helping us maintain our value for customer service.
• Create and update Terms and Conditions templates for our products, websites, apps, or other technology, applicable in France, Germany and Italy.
• Analyze, negotiate, draft and review suppliers and partners’ contracts related to the Yousign platform.
• Monitor laws, regulations and case law in the technology, digital and Saas sectors that are applicable in France, Germany and Italy (with assistance of local law firms) and elaborate notes on said regulations and laws.
• Develop and promote Yousign’s digital strategy, in tight collaboration with other lawyers & other cross teams (security, tech, design, marketing, etc.) to preserve Yousign’s sustainable and innovative ecosystem.
• Work with internal stakeholders to document decisions and processes.
• Assist in drafting playbooks, policies, procedures and internal training.
• Deal with disputes related to our platform and products.
  

Your Profile

• You’ve graduated with a French Master in Law.
• You have ideally 4 to 7 years of experience and already worked as a Product Counsel.
• You are an expert on GDPR, contracts and SaaS/Tech products
• If you have knowledge in consumer law and compliance, it's a plus.
• You are user-first and understands the users needs.
• You excels at finding solutions
• You are used to working closely with Product Management teams
• You are fluent in French and English as a professional business language. (German or Italian, are a plus as we are growing internationally).
• You know how to prioritize and to adapt to a demanding environment.
• You have a spirit of analysis and synthesis but also know how to be creative.
• You are ready to work in an innovative European company and like working in a fast-paced environment.
