We seek an ambitious and innovative UX/UI Designer to join our team, where you will create and implement modern and engaging designs for Hexagon’s Reality Capture Software applications.
You will work on both UI and UX elements, collaborating closely with Product Managers and the development team and you will contribute to the design and development of our desktop software products specialized in the realms of reality capture, CAD, and 3D modeling.

· Collaborate with our product management team and product owners to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
· Be a pro-active member of the UX/UI community of the Reality Capture Division to ensure the consistency across the products (including cloud and mobile applications) and contribute to the company strategy.
· Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering, while maintaining consistency and unity amongst our various software products.
· Conduct user research and testing to understand the needs and preferences of our target audience.
· Stay up-to-date with new design trends and best practices, implementing these regularly in our ongoing projects.
· Develop and shape the applications, considering current functionality and future growth.
· Work with design systems and style guides to ensure consistency, reusability and maintainability of design elements.
· Employ UX best practices and design thinking to create user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing software application interfaces that can handle large and complex geospatial data.
· Offer insights and experiences related to software craftsmanship and lean software development, helping to foster a culture of continuous growth and learning within the team.
· BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product), HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), or relevant work experience.
· Proficiency in TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Playwright, and 2D/3D rendering technologies.
· Extensive experience in using Figma or similar design tools.
· Proven experience in creating user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing software interfaces.
· Strong understanding of design systems, style guides, and UX best practices.
· Knowledge of user-centered design and the ability to conduct user research.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly and effectively express design ideas and rationales.
· Fluency in English (written & spoken), ideally in French too
