YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): 🥇

  • Assist on the monthly closing in APAC
  • Assist with the accounting monthly closing by providing the external accountant with all closing information and answering external accountant questions.
  • Create documents to present monthly financial performance to GMs in each APAC country.
  • Assist on finance operations daily tasks and ad hoc tasks
  • Create seller invoices in Korea.
  • Handle accounts payable in APAC, including customer refunds.
  • Work with our fraud team in France to fight against payment fraud.
  • Identify areas of improvement in day-to-day operations and implement solutions.
  • Ensure the reliability of our finance data and processes
  • Reconcile different datasets ranging from sales transactions data to accounting data, and analyze any discrepancies.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks to improve APAC finance operations and support other teams to grow the business in the APAC region.
  • Assist with other finance-related tasks led by the growth of the business and the fast-changing environment.
  • YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF: ⭐

  • You bring to the table  at least 3 years in accounting, FP&A, or a related field and have a solid foundation in finance from your higher education
  • You have a basic SQL knowledge and an intermediate Excel knowledge.
  • You have good attention to detail and an excellent analytical mind.
  • You have a structured approach and are methodical.
  • You can handle routine tasks as well as ad-hoc tasks.
  • You show curiosity and are willing to learn and dive into different finance topics in a fast-changing environment.
  • You are a reliable team player with a sense of accountability and ownership, and you also can work independently.
  • You are fluent in Japanese and business level in English
