Within the EA Actuarial Calculation & Country Controlling department, the actuary will be integrated in the actuarial and controlling community in the Europ Assistance finance area.

Mission and main responsibilities

Support the activity of the Actuarial Calculation with a focus on IFRS17 planning model

-       Run of Technical Provision in the context of IFRS17 and Solvency II for both Claims Technical Provision and Premium Provision

-       Run of IFRS17 restatement in planning period for Claims Technical Reserve, Loss Component, Interest Rate impacts and Risk Adjustment

Support actuarial activity in the finance department that are not directly linked to valuation of the Best Estimate of Technical Provision

-       Support the implementation of actuarial automation and technical dashboard

-       Assist the implementation insurance technical profitability by product line and solvency II line of business in actual closing and in FBP

The candidate needs to have a master degree in Actuarial science

A work experience of at least 5 years in the Finance sector is required.

The knowledge of the main Property&Casualty Insurance aspects would be appreciated.

The candidate must have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. He/She must have proactive behavior and strong interpersonal skills, being able to maintain good working relationships with all the stakeholders.

Project management and facilitation capabilities are also important to succeed.

Superior verbal and written communication skills in an international environment. Ability to communicate fluently in English and French is required.
