👪 About the Customer Onboarding team

The Customer Onboarding Manager at MakiPeople holds a pivotal place at the intersection of technology and customer experience. Your primary mission is to streamline the integration of MakiPeople’s advanced AI solutions into our clients’ operations, setting the stage for their success from the outset.

You’ll be at the heart of client engagement, ensuring a straightforward, effective setup and training process for our platform. Your collaboration with internal teams is crucial to deliver a successful onboarding experience for both recruiters and candidates.

In this role, you’re not simply checking boxes; you’re building relationships and guiding clients through each step, always focusing on ease of use and maximum platform engagement. Your commitment to excellence and a client-centered approach will not only meet but surpass our clients’ expectations, leading to better recruitment outcomes.

💪 About your missions

Go-Live Excellence

  • Manage and execute the customer onboarding process with a focus on smooth and efficient transitioning to MakiPeople’s platform, delivering an experience that consistently exceeds customer expectations.

  • Commit to having customers fully operational on the platform by the promised go-live date, showcasing our reputation for dependability and attention to detail.

  • Elevate the standard for assessment experiences by blending visually appealing branding with thoughtfully engineered functionality that benefits both candidates and recruiters.

Innovative Experience Creation

  • Lead the charge in crafting cutting-edge assessment protocols that are not only powerful but also user-friendly, ensuring an exceptional and memorable experience for candidates.

  • Innovate our training methodology to thoroughly equip users with the skills and confidence needed to harness the full capabilities of our AI-powered platform.

  • Design an onboarding journey that epitomizes innovation and sophistication, creating an impactful and lasting positive impression on all stakeholders engaged with our platform.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Act as the central coordinator between Product, Tech, Science, Sales, Care and Success teams to ensure a synergistic approach to the platform’s deployment and client satisfaction.

  • Facilitate open lines of communication with the Product and Tech teams to guarantee that technical functionalities and upgrades are flawlessly incorporated into the onboarding plan.

  • Collaborate closely with the Science team to certify that AI-powered assessments are tailored to meet each client’s unique criteria, emphasizing scientific integrity and applicability.

  • Partner with Sales and Success teams to align client expectations with the delivery of our services, converting sales agreements into operative success stories from the get-go.

Project Management Excellence

  • Apply expert project management techniques to oversee the entire onboarding process, from meticulous planning to successful execution.

  • Set definitive project milestones and distribute responsibilities clearly, ensuring accurate timelines while preemptively identifying and addressing potential risks.

  • Embrace a disciplined approach to managing onboarding projects, maintaining transparency with regular updates, stakeholder engagements, and systematic progress reviews.

🧞 Our ideal candidate

  • Experience in a similar role working with Enterprise accounts, within a fast-growing startup or a B2B SaaS

  • Strong interest in AI and HR tech; knowledge of the HR ecosystem would be a plus

  • Appetite for solving problems and an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and use it to make strategic decisions

  • Drive and ambition: we’re growing fast and expect you to grow along us

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you have a proactive attitude, enjoy freedom and autonomy and act as an owner

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Advanced English and bilingual in French.

💫 Our process together

We want to offer the best candidate experience possible by letting everyone apply, ensuring that the process lasts ~3 weeks from the moment you get invited to the first step.

Step 1: A short assessment on Maki (~25mins) 📂

This is the occasion for you to discover our product more in-depth and to demonstrate your fit, skills & motivation (~25mins)

Step 2: A call with your hiring manager (~45mins) 🤝🏼

If we believe you may be a good match, we’ll arrange a first call with your hiring manager to cover the basis: your experience, your vision of the role and your interest in joining us.

Step 3: A call with one of our co-founders (~45mins) 👀

We’ll then arrange a call with Paul-Louis, our COO and one of the three co-founders.

Those structured conversations (steps 2 & 3) aim at covering skills we would have not covered in the assessment as well as your fit to our values & vision. At any point, you’ll have the opportunity to ask all your questions, including the tough ones.

Step 4: A business case with our co-founders (~60mins)

You will then be invited to our Onboarding Business Case with your hiring manager as well as our three co-founders: Paul-Louis, Maxime & Benjamin.

Step 5: Informal meetup with your future team

We’d also like for you to be able to meet your future colleagues! These meetings (online or in real life if and when possible) will be a chance for you to familiarise yourself with the team, our way of working, and again, to ask any questions you may have!

Step 6: Your offer 💌
