We are looking for a General Accounting Manager as part of the finance team and reporting to the Accounting & Consolidation Director.
You will manage and support the global accounting organisation at Vestiaire Collective.
This is a full-time, permanent role based out of our Paris office.
About the Role
In charge of coordinating the general accounting of our subsidiaries (12 subsidiaries) includingMonth-end processes (accruals, prepayments, other adjustments and final review of accounts) jointly with the Accounting & Consolidation Director.Coordinate the General Accounting team to improve the current processes.Payroll accounting for France bookkeeping and reviewRevenue recognition and related intercompany postings bookkeeping and reviewBooking/guiding the general accounting team on ad-hoc transactionsCoordinate the local reportings to submit to the French Administration and other stakeholders (liasse, VAT, Annual Accounts, etc)Working closely with our local accounting experts for tax, VAT and other declarations filling purposesLiaising with different external auditors during the year-end audit, supporting the general accounting team to obtain the audit reports in time.Intercompany transactions (accounting, reconciliations)Administration of the Accounting tool (Netsuite)Ad hoc projects (capitalization of development costs, etc)Key Success metrics
Deliver on time and reliable monthly and yearly closing tasks based on our closing calendarBuild business partner relationship with operational teamsContinuously improve ways of working via automation and process improvements.Who You Are
You have more than 7 years experience, at least 2 of them as manager, ideally in a medium sized company in an international context and you hold a Bachelor's degree and above preferably in accounting or a finance-related field. Excellent proficiency in general accounting (all cycles)Experience on Netsuite accounting tool is a plusYou speak and write fluently in English, French would be a plus.Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving and financial skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize, in a busy and dynamic environment with willingness to accept challenges and changeAdvanced knowledge in ExcelYou are a team player; you display integrity, humility and responsibility, with excellent interpersonal skills You are data driven, analytical, results-oriented and you focus on solutions rather than problems and you have troubleshooting skills Principled, flexible, and resourceful with a positive customer service mentalityWhat we offer 🎁
