As a ServiceNow Architect and a key member of our ServiceNow team, you’ll play a strategic role in planning and designing our ServiceNow platform and platform governance. You’ll provide technical leadership, ensure alignment with business objectives, and drive innovation.
The role of Service Architect requires excellent general knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its components to effectively design and oversee a transition project for one of our customers. Additionally, the role will involve designing and building an entirely new ServiceNow environment from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain ServiceNow roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient ServiceNow architectures.
Best Practices: Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and standards.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams and define ServiceNow development management practices.
Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Innovation: Identify opportunities for process improvement and technological advancements.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate technical decisions.
Technical Skills: Broad understanding of ServiceNow architecture and best practices (TOGAF/IT4IT).
Design Skills: Ability to create effective ServiceNow solutions.
Leadership Skills: Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship.
Deep Understanding of ServiceNow: Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow platform, modules, and capabilities.
Architecture Design: Proficiency in designing scalable and secure ServiceNow architectures and tools (UML, EAF).
Technical Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor development teams.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Requirement Engineering: Understanding and translating requirements into design.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, especially consultants and developers and provide mentoring to developers.
Specific Technical Skills
Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages (e.g., Business Rules, Client Scripts).
Integration: Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems.
Data management: Understanding of ServiceNow’s data model and database management.
Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize ServiceNow performance and scalability.
Security: Knowledge of ServiceNow security best practices and compliance requirements. Design and maintain Security concepts
Preferred Qualifications
ITIL Certification: Understanding of ITIL best practices.
Certified ServiceNow Architect (CSA).
Knowledge on cloud platforms and how to integrate with Servicenow (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
