As a ServiceNow DevOps Support Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and continuous improvement of our ServiceNow platform and ITSM module. You’ll provide technical support, integrate tools, maintain the platform, and collaborate with developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support: Provide timely and effective support for ServiceNow ITSM, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and user queries.
DevOps Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with DevOps tools and processes, collaborating closely with developers on deployments, fixes, and improvements.
Platform Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as upgrades, patching, and configuration changes.
Deployment and Release Management: Manage, test and deploy update sets to production and testing environments, ensuring quality and minimizing disruptions.
Operations and Support: Maintain platform and application operations, including incident management, problem management, and performance optimization.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
Collaboration and Improvement: Work closely with teams to ensure alignment, effective collaboration, and continuous improvement.
ServiceNow Expertise: Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform, ITSM module
DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools
Technical Skills: testing strategies, VCS, update sets, troubleshooting, and data migration.
Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation excellent support.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
ITIL certification.
Basic knowledge of scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide).
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS).
Proficiency in scripting and basic development skills is a plus
