About the Role

Airship’s Strategic Services team is home to expert digital marketers and trusted advisors to the largest brands around the globe and consists of four pillars that enable customers to maximize their Airship platform usage, develop best-in-class mobile experiences and optimize performance.

These are strategic platform enablement, mobile strategy and optimization, experience delivery and reporting & insights services.

As a Campaign Reporting Specialist, you’ll become one of our experts creating successful campaign messages, using our Business Insights tool and helping analyze customer, platform and campaign results with a digital experience and digital marketing lens. This role will directly influence customer campaign results through insight-driven recommendations. You are passionate about data and able to transform campaign and customer insights into a story for our customers that can inform decision making and optimize their results. You have prior digital marketing and analytics experience across the marketing life cycle.

What You'll Do:

  • Create customized reports and dashboards and surface insights for data-driven recommendations
  • Ensure reports and analytic read-outs articulate a clear data story inclusive of contextual information for relevant and actionable results.
  • Perform key performance analyses as needed to support strategic and account delivery, including but not limited to audience analysis, campaign analysis, campaign performance reporting, offer/ promotion analysis and segment migration analysis.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing team members, including Strategic Consultants, Campaign Specialists and Account Managers on customer or internal analytic requests for optimal analysis, insights and recommendation and align analysis and recommendations ahead of delivery
  • Support the Campaign Specialist team through the successful creation of campaign messages including, audience identification and segmentation as needed. QA and test campaigns in the platform for customer approval before deployment.
  • Deliver customer and internal projects and effectively manage time tables and deployment calendars while working on multiple customer projects simultaneously.
  • Take ownership of implicit and direct customer questions, concerns and requests, troubleshoot any issues and partner with the appropriate teams to resolve issues and provide solutions to customers.
  • Proactively and confidently provide updates to customers on the status of reports and campaigns.
  • Facilitate customer adoption and provide training/ retraining to customers on the Airship analytics tool as needed.
  • Document and provide user feedback to Product and other internal teams.
  • Stay up-to-date on Airship feature, channel and functionality updates for campaign integration and strategic recommendations for customers.

Skills and Experience We're Looking For:

  • Strong presentation and presentation design skills.
  • Proficient in data storytelling and data visualization.
  • Experience writing and executing SQL queries, Python or R.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborative and able to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Able to quickly build trusting customer relationships.
  • Self-starter, driven to learn new things and take on new challenges.
  • Strong project and time management skills to balance multiple customers and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience executing or analyzing digital marketing campaigns for a global brand and/or with a SaaS marketing company.
  • Comfortable with mobile platforms including iOS and Android, as well as SMS, Mobile, Web, Wallet and Email.
  • Experience with one or multiple business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau or similar).
  • Ability to read and write HTML, CSS & Javascript is a plus.

Work Location & Travel Requirements

Airship’s ‘Digital First’ approach to work means that for the majority of our roles, work can be performed remotely, either some or most of the time. Some roles may require that employees perform their work from a specific location to support business activities, and/or be within proximity to an Airship office location or customer or partner locations, while other roles can be performed 100% remotely.

This position is fully remote and may require up to 10% travel based on business needs or as requested by your manager.

Compensation

Airship’s compensation is determined by a variety of factors including market data, business needs, and geography. Base pay is part of your total compensation package and is dependent on multiple factors, including: relevant skills, work experience, business priorities, market demands, and location.

The starting base pay range for this position is: $68,000 - $75,000 USD per year. Some roles may also be eligible for commission, bonus, or other performance incentives. Airship believes that employees should have the opportunity to benefit from value-creation, so equity is also offered with this role. In addition, Airship offers a robust benefits package as part of our Total Rewards approach to compensation.
