We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Head of People to lead our People & Culture function.
Reporting to the COO, you'll be instrumental in shaping our company culture, attracting top talent within the competitive quantum industry, and building a collaborative, innovative environment.
As a key member of the leadership team, you'll provide strategic counsel on all people-related matters, ensuring our people strategy directly supports our business goals.
Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning: Partner with the leadership team to develop and implement a long-term strategic HR plan that supports the company's growth and vision. This includes workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational development.Culture & Values: Define, cultivate, and champion company culture and values in collaboration with the Office Management team to ensure they are embedded in all people-related processes and initiatives. Foster a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered.Talent Acquisition: Understand Alice & Bob’s long-term vision and objectives, and develop a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Manager to attract, recruit, and onboard top-tier talent within the quantum computing industry.Compensation & Benefits: Collaborate with the HRBP to continuously build a competitive compensation and benefits program that attracts and retains top talent. Conduct market research and ensure our offerings are aligned with industry standards.Performance Management: Continuously improve the performance management system that supports employee growth and development, provides regular feedback, and aligns individual goals with company objectives.Learning & Development: Co-create and implement learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, particularly in the rapidly evolving quantum computing field.Employee Relations: Empower managers to handle employee relations challenges, ensuring compliance with all applicable labour laws and regulations. Develop and implement policies and procedures to address employee concerns and resolve conflicts effectively.Metrics & Reporting: Track and analyse key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of people programs and initiatives. Provide regular reports to the leadership team on HR performance.People Operations Excellence: Leverage the team’s expertise to oversee core HR and Office Management operations, streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.Requirements:
8+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Bachelor’s of Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience in and ability to thrive in a high-growth technology scale-up environment, ideally in a deep tech or related field.Strong understanding of all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee relations, and HR operations.Demonstrated ability to lead a high-performing HR team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Fluent English and French.Passion for our mission and the quantum computing industry.Benefits:
