We are seeking a project manager to strengthen our Microtechnologies team. The hired person will be responsible for the development of microfluidic modules for bioproduction.
Project Management: Technical leadership considering user needs, regulatory context, industrial and economic constraints; planning and anticipation of project progress; risk management; regular documentation and communication;
Concept Development: Fundamental studies and rationalization of design principles based on internal knowledge, literature, analytical and numerical modeling; Design; Prototyping (machining, 3D printing, molding, assembly, coatings, etc.)
Functional Studies, Reports, and Improvement: Development and execution of fundamental and applied test plans, if necessary in collaboration; documentation of tests and analysis of results; synthesis of results and their implications; presentation of conclusions and recommendations.
Collaboration and Excellence: Teamwork, communication, documentation, proactivity, rigor.
Integration and Real-World Testing with other team members, particularly biological testing.
The projects you will work on are intended to be integrated into complete systems involving robotics, electronics, software, processes, and biology. You will therefore work in a multidisciplinary environment with numerous exchanges to ensure the interdependencies and compatibilities of the work.
Expected Technical Skills
Fluent professional French and English (written and spoken)
Experience in R&D project management, technical innovation leadership, synthesis skills, and communication abilities;
Experience in mechanical design (3D design, prototyping), fundamental knowledge and rationalization capacity for design (in mechanics, materials, physics, or industrial processes);
Ability to design and execute experimental plans: design of experiments, protocol writing, experimental setup, conducting experiments, and exploiting results.
Experience working in a research laboratory (bench): knowledge of laboratory safety rules, adaptability to a regularly changing environment.
Experience in microfluidics is welcome.
