The position

Job description

We are seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager to join BAT team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring the successful execution of our commercial strategies.

We currently have 13 people in the KA team, so there will be plenty of inspiration :)

Key business accountabilities:

  • Responsibility for sales of BAT products in selected key customers.
  • Negotiation of commercial terms and conditions.
  • Maintain and development of commercial relationships with key customers, identifying commercial opportunities.
  • Responsibility for delivering sales targets and conditions within assigned key customers, working with budget.
  • Implementation of promotional & forecast plans.
  • Working with sales and market data.
  • Close cooperation with regional managers and sales representative team.

Key Success Factors:

  • Successful implementation of yearly plan.
  • Implementation of Key Account Management Best Practices.
  • Category management focus – distribution, visibility, share of space, planograms.
  • Development and evaluation of given account contact matrixes with a clear understanding of decision-making processes, strategy and expansion plans.
  • Participation on progressive solution within KA department.

Skills and experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager in the FMCG, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and managing major accounts.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with the capability to interpret sales data and market insights.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specially excel.
  • Fluent in Czech and English
