I was one of the first people to join the company before it was bought out and was hired as a front-end developer. I was able to develop the first interfaces, manage framework changes and contribute to the company's major functionalities. As our teams grew and we were acquired by Cisco, I was able to take on the roles of techlead and then scrum- master.

Cisco has set up global shadowing, mentoring and other programs. Within the team, annual interviews enable everyone to share their career objectives with their manager and implement a plan to achieve them. The grade system enables us to recognize the milestones passed by an employee, even without a change of position, and recognizes both technical and managerial expertise! The various forums for exchange within the team give everyone a chance to have their say, even before a change of position.

The life of the team is punctuated by Scrum rituals (daily meeting, weekly report, end of sprint demo, launch, etc.) but also by a monthly team session where all subjects can be discussed. We carry out a quarterly team building activity with generally meetings/seminars in the morning and a “fun” activity in the afternoon.
Sports, cultural or well-being activities are on the program via the CSE. A Slack channel also exists for unofficial but very regular outings to the bar.
