The position

Job description

To cover a maternity leave, the Project Management Office in the Transformation Office (TO/PMO) of Coface Headquarters is looking for a PMO for a fixed term contract of 11 months, starting in October.

Within this position the candidate will be mainly in charge of the Commercial projects of the project portfolio.

Team Mission

Make sure that the right projects are selected, provide a holistic view of the Project Portfolio and master its execution viability ensuring best allocation of budget and resources

 

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to design the project portfolio linked to the Coface strategy and operational objectives (depending on budget available).
  • Control and monitor of budget, resources and benefits of the projects of the portfolio of his / her scope.
  • Communicate quarterly the status of the projects of the portfolio of his / her scope.
  • Contribute to improve operational excellence in project implementation across Coface (methodology).
  • Communicate & raise awareness on the new methodology
  • Participate in the training of the non-expert project managers
  • Ensure commitment to quality
  • Evaluate value creation of projects & report project issues
  • Support the non-TO project managers
  • Guides PM’s to apply the standards
  • Hold PM accountable for their role
  • Provide support on project issues solving
  • Ensure that the projects have the right resources
  • Ensure quality of Project key deliverables
  • Support in particular SteerCos preparation & attend SteerCos of key projects

Preferred experience

Level of experience

  • 5+ years’ experience of project and change management
  • Proven strong experience in multinational/multicultural projects

 

Technical skills

  • Excellent -proven- capabilities of project management and change management
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Proven coaching skills of project managers
  • Ability to convey information clearly and concisely
  • Good organizational skills to keep track of their scope progress and make adjustments when necessary.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to identify problems and develop solutions
  • Ability to make effective decisions
  • Ability to anticipate risks, and manage them with key people
  • Excellent level of French and English required
