This is a new opening within the Engineering department, based in Paris 9 and offering a flexible remote work policy.
Your main mission will be to detect and explain potential anomalies in the operation of our advanced cybersecurity threat detection engine. Your results will be communicated to top management and influence the Product & Engineering roadmap.
You will explore gigantic amounts of data, including real-time data from the inner of our engine, historical and statistical data from our data warehouse, as well as detailed technical metrics and timelines of various events. Amongst this data, you will identify the main key metrics that are important to follow and set up adequate dashboarding and monitoring to detect potential anomalies. In the event of an anomaly, you will look for correlations with other events such as code and infrastructure changes, client-specific configuration updates, human interventions, external events, etc. and unravel the chain of causality. Your discoveries will be shared with top management and the Product & Engineering department.
To succeed in your mission, you will need to grow an in-depth understanding of our business, how our company operates, what our product does, how our technology works, etc. Your teammates will assist you in this learning process. Additionally, you will have access to senior engineers, product managers and cybersecurity analysts, who will share their expertise with you. This role will position you at a central position in the company.
For this position, we seek a senior data analyst, not only with strong analytical skills, but also an endless curiosity for topics ranging from technology to business and everything in between, as well as ability to bridge the gap between these areas and connect seemingly unrelated ideas.
