Job Title: Deal Desk Manager

Dataiku’s mission is big: to enable all people throughout companies around the world to use data by removing friction surrounding data access, cleaning, modeling, deployment, and more. The Deal Desk Manager will provide deal structure guidance and recommendations to the Sales team that balance a compliant, data driven, business and collaborative approach with creative thinking to meet customer needs. This includes leading and coordinating the internal deal process and providing proactive and flexible support between multiple teams throughout the deal cycle, from initial proposal to final signature and booking.

Responsibilities

  • Manage quotes approvals for your Region, ensuring deal structure, products and pricing are aligned to company policies and customer expectations.

  • Rigorously ​Manage bookings and documentation check

  • Ensure and enable rapid movement through the sales process.

  • Partner with Sales to ensure Quotes are properly created and tracked in Salesforce.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales Managers up to CRO, Legal, Revenue Accounting, Finance, Product, etc.) to ensure deals comply with accounting requirements and other internal processes/guidances.

  • Act as the first point of contact to coordinate, address, and resolve any contracts or tool related issues.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the sales team on deal-related matters.

  • Proactively liaise with relevant sales teams to early engage on complex and / or high value deals.

  • Initiate, lead, and participate in projects focused on improving productivity and simplifying processes throughout the sales cycle as needed (outside the scope of specific deals).

Qualifications

  • Strong Spreadsheet and systems (such as Salesforce) skills.

  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal).

  • Comfortable with the ambiguity associated with a fast moving business, international environment, and compliance with standards and internal processes.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize well between multiple priorities from different sources.

  • Ability to keep up with frequent changes to products, policies, procedures, and people.

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment in a fast paced environment.

    • Self-motivated with an eye towards rigor, continuous learning and improvement.

    • Ability to work with remote teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training. Eligible roles may also be entitled to receive commission or other variable compensation through Dataiku's incentive compensation program.

US only national base pay ranges

$140,000$150,000 USD
