Job description

At Dataiku, we're not just adapting to the AI revolution, we're leading it. Since our beginning in Paris in 2013, we've been pioneering the future of AI with a platform that makes data actionable and accessible. With over 1,000 teammates across 25 countries and backed by a renowned set of investors, we're the architects of Everyday AI, enabling data experts and domain experts to work together to build AI into their daily operations, from advanced analytics to Generative AI.

Dataiku is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Climate & ESG Analyst to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of our sustainability strategies. In this role, you will conduct sustainability assessments, analyze and report on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data, and contribute to achieving our corporate responsibility goals. You will work cross-functionally with various departments to support projects and initiatives that reduce our environmental footprint, enhance our social impact, and drive long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carbon Measurement & Reduction: With the support of our climate management partner Watershed, support the development and execution of the company’s decarbonization, conducting carbon measurement and setting and monitoring reduction targets, aligned with Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) guidelines.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, monitor, and analyze data related to sustainability metrics, including carbon emissions, water and energy use, waste management, and social responsibility indicators.
  • ESG Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on ESG for internal stakeholders and external reporting.
  • Project Management Support & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with sustainability teams on ESG projects and initiatives (ie. travel reduction, supply chain engagement), and employee engagement in sustainability practices.
  • Research & Benchmarking: Conduct research on industry best practices, regulatory trends, and new sustainability technologies to support decision-making and strategy development.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or Certificate in Sustainability or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a sustainability, environmental management, or related role; familiarity with ESG reporting standards and sustainability frameworks is preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Dataiku). Experience with SBTi reporting is advantageous. Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with an ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey sustainability concepts and data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for Sustainability: A demonstrated interest in sustainability, social impact, and environmental stewardship.
  • English speaking fluent - a plus to speak French but not mandatory
