With over 1,000 teammates across 25 countries and backed by a renowned set of investors, we're the architects of Everyday AI, enabling data experts and domain experts to work together to build AI into their daily operations, from advanced analytics to Generative AI.

Dataiku is looking for a Territory Development Representative to join our growing team in Australia! The Territory Development Representative is part of our Business Development team. In this role, you will work closely with the Regional Marketing Managers, Partners, (Strategic) Account Executives and other go-to-market (GTM) teams to follow up on the leads generated from each channel and targeted campaigns to develop opportunities within your assigned territory.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Collaborate with marketing, partners, AEs, and other GTM teams (such as Sales Engineering, Partnerships and Customer Success) to follow up on leads, develop and generate opportunities within your assigned territory that align with Dataiku's business objectives.
  • Create new initial opportunities (new logos)
  • Work on both sourced opportunities and influenced opportunities, identifying the right population to engage with and qualifying them leveraging our qualification framework.
  • Progress opportunities through multithreading and working off the back of an account plan in our most strategic accounts for new land opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within strategic accounts and the account team (marketing, AEs, SEs, CSMs, partners, Services team, Data Scientists etc).
  • Ensure the pipeline is consistently healthy and progressing, nurturing opportunities within your assigned territory.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or partnership roles, with a focus on collaborating with partners to develop new business opportunities.
  • Experience in the software/tech industry or in a startup is a plus.
  • Demonstrated organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle pressure and a high volume of tasks in a result-oriented environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker capable of working through challenging data science related projects with potential prospects.
  • Passion for innovative technologies like AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, Big Data and Predictive Analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or related field.

We believe that collaboration is key to success. You will work closely with other GTM teams to ensure that our most strategic accounts are being effectively targeted and that opportunities are progressing through the pipeline.
