Cybersecurity
Being "cyber-secure" means that a person or an organization has protected itself against cyber criminals and other online rogues and ensured that it can continue its business with as little impact as possible if attacked.
At Decathlon, security is job zero, and we have a team of over 80 people worldwide working to protect the company with new defense solutions. With 24-hour surveillance, they are responsible for protecting systems, devices, networks, and data connected to the Internet from unauthorized access and criminal use.
Yara, a business and political science graduate, joined Decathlon's cybersecurity team in early 2023 as the DevSecOps Team Leader. Previously a Cyber-risk Analyst Manager at a French startup, she discovered her passion for cybersecurity. Based in Paris, Yara enjoys hiking as her favorite sport and indulges in cardio and relaxing activities like yoga when in the city.

Data Team
The Data team acts as a catalyst for Decathlon’s data transformation. We engage in the technological and human transformations necessary to enable the development of the best data solutions and put them in the hands of users where they create the most value. Our priority is to simplify and drive Decathlon’s data-centric transformation by bringing together 100% data solutions, qualitative and available data, and best practices.
Massil, a seven-year Decathlon Digital team member, has undergone a transformative journey within the company. Starting as a software engineer, he later embraced a DevOps role during the cloud migration phase. He has exceled as a StaData Engineer for the past four years. Beyond work, Massil finds joy in gardening, traveling, and outdoor sports such as bouldering.

Product Teams
From retail to sports experiences, our digital solutions are at the core of Decathlon's teammate and customer journeys. Our product team has a wide-ranging scope within Decathlon, encompassing customer account management, connected sports experiences, e-commerce functionalities, Design, and UX. Our teams focus on sports-related projects, including the design of connected sports products and applications for athletes and our teammates. These teams collaborate closely with business, data, and tech to meet customer and user expectations, offering innovative solutions that enhance their physical and digital experiences.
Sophie is a Group Product Manager at Decathlon Digital, leading the team focused on enhancing sports experiences through personalized journeys. Originaly from the Alps, she has a strong passion for outdoor activities like skiing, snowboarding, cycling, and running. Sophie joined the company in late 2022 after gaining experience in Product roles in London. She is also actively involved in promoting sustainability within the company.

Julien is the Global Head of Product Activation (Product Marketing & Success) at Decathlon Digital. Since May 2022, he has led a team of 30+, driving customer, market, and competitive insights to guide product direction and promote digital solutions across 70 markets. With a passion for achieving product-market fit, Julien combines Product, Data, and Marketing expertise to generate business value.

Digital People Team
The Digital People Team gathers 70 teammates committed to making Decathlon Digital a people-centered modern organization where execution excellence and thriving people build on each other. Our main goal is to level up all digital teammates' responsibility and skills development to serve Decathlon Digital's ambition.
Our teams and expertises rely on Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Employee Experience, Organizational Design, Communication, HRBP & Operations, Diversity/Inclusion & Leadership.
Eric, Talent Development Leader at Decathlon Digital since 2020, brings over a decade of HR and recruitment experience from the tech industry. Outside work, he enjoys engaging in board sports like skateboarding, snowboarding, and kitesurfing. Eric also stays active through running and fitness activities.

Digital Design
Ashley, a Decathlon Digital team member for just over a year, joined the company after working for the last eight years in the sports world. With a project management/operations background, she approaches work by looking through the lenses of speed, scale, and efficiency. Beyond work, she stays grounded through pilates and walking.

Gaëlle joined Decathlon 8 months ago with just over a decade of international experience working in multicultural environments and focusing on understanding people. She has at heart to set up a psychologically safe environment for people to thrive. When she is not at work, you will find her in the ring as she practices boxing.

Software Engineering
Milo has over 20 years of Web & IT experience. He progressed from developer roles in Italy to leadership positions in the tehc & sport industries. In 2023, he joined Decathlon as VP of Engineering for E-commerce. Based in Amsterdam, Milo drives innovation and integration across Product, Data, and Business teams to enhance the customer journey. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, padel, pottery, ice cream making, and global travel

Alexander, VP of Engineering for Customer Growth at Decathlon Digital since June 2023, is based in Amsterdam. With over 18 years in digital technology - he now drives customer growth and retention through data-driven strategies. Outside work, Alexander enjoys hiking.
