Our team expands Deezer’s reach through partnerships with leading companies and organisations distributing Deezer to their customer base. The EMEA Strategic Partnerships team are seeking an exceptional, seasoned leader to manage our most strategic partners across our region.
As a senior manager on the team, you are responsible for accelerating subscriber growth and revenue for a set of partners in Deezer’s largest market: EMEA. You will set and execute on the growth strategy for your partner portfolio, manage day-to-day relationships with internal and external teams, and ensure alignment of your partnerships to the overall company strategy.
You will report to the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships EMEA, within the Chief Commercial Officer’s organisation. The role requires a high level of transversal collaboration with teams like Analytics, Partner Marketing, CRM, Product and Partner Integration, Content, Editorial, Artist Relations, Business Operations, and others.
The ideal candidate brings an extensive track record of cultivating senior relationships at leading brands in telecom, digital media, streaming, gaming, consumer electronics and/or connected technology industries.
What you will do:
Build strong rapport at multiple hierarchical levels with Partners in various companies, securing alignment across objectives, performance, resourcing, growth plans, and renewals.
Develop and execute a detailed strategy to grow subscribers, revenue, and margins for your accounts.
Regularly provide actionable insights, growth and optimization recommendations to Partners.
Mobilize internal stakeholders to support Partnerships and keep them informed of key information.
Be the internal expert on contractual commitments, deadlines, marketing activities, to ensure Partner and Deezer compliance with the agreements.
Manage complex contract negotiations with partners and all key stakeholders involved with or affected by Partnerships projects.
Embody Deezer’s core values in your local market, be an ambassador for our global partnerships team and represent Deezer Partnerships at key industry events.
This role is excellent for a person with:
6-8+ years of international and intercultural work experience in Strategic Partnerships or Business Development in media, telecommunications, VOD, consumer electronics, gaming, and/or retail.
Experience and ease with meeting and exceeding revenue and other commercial targets
A high level of executive presence and a proven track record of managing relationships for strategic partners, exceeding business goals, and managing complex multi-million euro deals
Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English. Business fluency in other languages is a plus
A consistently strong performer who is autonomous and able to demonstrate rigorous prioritisation skills.
A hands-on, can-do attitude with a pragmatic and solutions-oriented approach to challenges
A proven, skilled negotiator able to influence and communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a matrix environment
