About the Core Squad
The Core Squad is responsible for developing and evolving services that manage contact assignments, agent statuses, and core business logic. Our projects include:
• Account – the main project containing critical business logic, including the routing system that connects agents and contacts based on skills and availability.
• Isolation – a service that synchronizes data between the IsolationService database and entity database, enabling the use of isolation data in SQL queries.
• Isolation Library – a Kotlin-based library providing request validation tools for backend services, including core implementations and JPA/JOOQ extensions.
• Salesforce Adapter – a service enabling delegated routing integration between Salesforce and our system.
QA and the Shift-Left Approach
On the QA side, we develop and maintain automated tests using Kotlin and Gherkin. Our test coverage extends across:
• UI tests
• Backend API tests
• RabbitMQ interactions (produce and consume RabbitMQ events to validate integration points)
We practice a shift-left approach, involving QA from the earliest stages of feature planning. This ensures we maintain a user-centric perspective, influence implementation details when necessary, and distribute test coverage responsibilities among QA, frontend, and backend teams.
Languages & Frameworks: Kotlin, Spring Boot, Cucumber
Build Tool: Gradle
