Job description

What we do

Join a team of passionate and hardworking entrepreneurs to transform healthcare!

Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with product, design, and business teams.

What you’ll do

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Clinical Assistant team in the Clinical and Financial Domain, based in Paris.

As a Senior Software Engineer, your mission will be to work on a cross
-functional feature team made up of Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers, all focused on the delivery of a fully AI
-powered product.

Documenting a patient's medical record is painful, requires time, and shifts the focus of the practitioner from the patient to the notes. We launched the Consultation Assistant, a new way of documenting consultations through a new, fully AI
-powered product. By joining the team, you'll be impacting tens of thousands of healthcare professionals’ day
-to
-day experience by freeing them up from their keyboard.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers to define and implement features to improve healthcare access for patients.
  • Take a leading role within the team and contribute to establishing a technical vision that ensures the performance, security, and usability of the application.
  • Bring your expertise and past experiences to help us continuously improve the way we design, implement, test, and monitor high
    -quality features.
  • Improve the performance of key features implemented in React (TypeScript/JavaScript), Ruby, and Python, sometimes completely challenging the status quo.
  • Take leadership in delivering roadmap items (together with the team).
  • Contribute to establishing a technical vision and co
-drive the creation of the roadmap for the next quarters.

Who you are

Are you convinced that you have exactly what it takes for the position? Then we encourage you to apply. Even if you don't meet every requirement, you might be exactly the right future Doctoliber for this or other positions!

  • You have at least 4 years of full
-stack software engineering experience. Our stack is JavaScript/TypeScript, Ruby, and Python, but any experience with similar frameworks is welcomed and valued.
  • You are strongly interested in AI/ML, and you are willing to leverage it to have a huge impact on healthcare practitioners’ daily practice.
  • You are proactive, curious, collaborative, and eager to learn.
  • You have a “user first” mindset and want to build a product focused on bringing value to its users, through secure, well
    -tested, and pragmatic code.
  • You are very focused on code quality and have a rigorous testing culture.
  • You are eager to share your knowledge and help the team grow by pair programming and mentoring.
  • You are fluent in English, German is a plus.
