Job description

What we do

Join a team of passionate and hardworking entrepreneurs to transform healthcare!

Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with engineering, design, and business teams.

At Doctolib, we build products that need to scale to millions of people throughout Europe and to yet remain easily maintainable by hundreds of developers. We do several daily deployments, and run 25K+ automated tests through our CI pipeline. The backend runs on Ruby on Rails, backed by PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Our PostgreSQL databases represent a total of 30TB and receive 30M queries by minute under high traffic.

We are at the forefront of healthcare innovation, and quality is at the heart of everything we do. As part of our senior leadership in QA, you will play a critical role in shaping our QA strategy and ensuring excellence across the organization.

What you’ll do

In the Platform domain, we build, abstract, encapsulate and maintain the building blocks in a “Platform as a Product” mindset. Our work lies in abstracting and maintaining complex systems to free the product teams from it. That way, we enable them to focus on the core business: building products at a faster pace for health providers and patients.

As one of the leaders of the Applicative Platform stream, you will lead the Quality efforts on the Applicative teams that are responsible for the front-end and back-end applicative foundations and for multiple products (communication delivery system, IAM, …) used by the whole organization.

As a Senior Staff Quality Assurance Analyst, your mission will be to:

  • Enable Quality Excellence: support and upskill Applicative Platform teams, upholding QA standards while raising the bar.
  • Participate in the definition and evolutions of our QA Strategy: Collaborate with the leadership team to refine and implement the overall QA strategy, aligning it with business goals.
  • Influence Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with EMs, PMs, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of quality.
  • Drive Innovation in QA Processes: continuously assess and optimize QA processes by staying up to date with best practices and identifying opportunities for innovation.
  • Facilitate and lead organization-wide initiatives: Design and lead QA, forums, strategy alignment sessions, and innovation workshops, fostering collaboration, driving consensus among senior leaders, and embedding a culture of quality across the enterprise.

Who you are

  • You have 8+ years of experience in QA, with a focus on leading QA efforts across multiple teams.
  • You are an expert in QA methodologies, tools, automation, and performance testing.
  • You have excellent communication skills and can influence stakeholders at all levels across multiple teams.
  • You are proactive, strategic, passionate and able to drive organizational change.
  • You have a software engineering background and are proficient with one of our languages - we use Typescript, Java, Ruby.

Now, it would be fantastic if you have:

  • A proven track record of implementing QA strategies at scale.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance in the healthcare sector.
  • Experience working in and understanding a complex domain such as platform engineering.
