Emeraude name was inspired by the color of the water in Dinard, its founder hometown, in Brittany.
It all started in Dinard on the Emeraude coast (name given to the region for the color of the sea) whose name served as inspiration for the company’s name. Thanks to the opening of Escape game rooms to the general public, Virgile Loisance was able to observe the first mechanisms that could be applied to companies (soft-skills that he could see in each participant, educational content learned in the long term, serious topics that became more interesting…) and proposed the concept to several companies.
Following the positive feedback of the concept and the success of the first corporative Escape Game, Emeraude Escape moved to Paris in order to be closer to its clients and to be able to expand its field of expertise by offering Escape games for trainings, prevention, awareness raising, recruiting and internal communication.
Emeraude Escape opened its first branch office, PrevUp which had a catalog of 15 Escape Games created by educational engineers, prevention specialists and game designers. PrevUp offers Escape Game for prevention and awareness raising on subjects such as security at work, first aid, diversity and inclusion, disability, cybersecurity, sustainable development...
With the arrival of Covid-19, Emeraude Escape realized that companies were having a hard time adapting their methods of work to the digital world. This is why Emeraude quickly decided to digitize all of its game concepts. With the help of a team of designers. The digital solutions were an immediate success and Emeraude Escape quickly became one of the French leaders in the field of digital games for businesses.
After becoming the leader of Escape Games in the European market, Emeraude Escape decided to go international by offering its digital solutions in multiple countries such as the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, United States and Canada.
Having become the reference of digital Escape Games in Europe in just a few months and facing our customers demand for new and ever more innovative concepts, Emeraude Escape decided to extend its offer by creating new game formats in order to enable the companies to address some of the problems of tomorrow in terms of communication (LAUNCH), training (LEARN), raising awareness (AWARENESS) and cohesion (PEOPLE).
