We are looking for a Sales Manager Brand France (Directeur des Clients Nationaux) to join our Consumer Goods Business Unit.
He/she is responsible for delivering agreed financial targets by leading, directing and managing sales activities for total France Consumer Goods branded business, coordinating with all key functions. He/she leads, coachs and develops Sales Organization in terms of structure, talent and capability development.
The position is based in Saint-Ouen (metro ligne 14).
What You Will Do
Responsible for Sales department for France Consumer Goods division, reporting to Commercial Director CG France/Belgium
Direct Reports: 4 National Group Key Account Managers (Directeurs d'Enseigne) and a total of 19 team members in the organization
Define and secure implementation of sales plan based on overall business objectives and GTM strategies, by directing resource/personnel deployment, setting sales targets and driving performance
Responsible for Customer Profitability (full P&L)
Deliver on the financial targets by optimal deployment of resources and sales profiles
Define and implement a plan to increase revenue and profitability
Lead, support and coordinate NAM and Sales Area Managers in preparation/negotiation of Yearly Agreements, Second Level Agreements, Listing and Assortment Plans, Promotional Planning
Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers and key opinion leaders to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term profitable growth
Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem/opportunities areas and adapt procedures
Allocate resources according to up-to-date customer categorization to improve the overall performance of the sales team
Present Plans and Results to Top Management, both Locally (Commercial Director) and at International Level (Regional Management Team, Regional Vice President)
Generate knowledge on market development/customer needs and competitor activities on the market and distribute to internal stakeholders
Challenge status quo to propose improvements/new ways of working, within Essity strategy and values
Contribute to overall decision making
Actively contribute to the development of the local Business Plan as a key member of Local Leadership Team
Lead, coach and develop the sales organization in terms of structure, talent & capabilities.
Build and maintain strong relationship and collaboration with related functional teams such as Marketing, Customer service, Finance etc.
Relevant Industry experience: at least 10 years of proven successful experience within Top FMCG companies
Strong collaboration, communication and influencing skills
Commercial and business acumen, strategic/holistic thinking and proven ability to manage complex tasks within a matrix organization
