The Business Development Manager will be accountable for revenue plans and targets for their region/product portfolio. The incumbent will be responsible for generating new business while conducting outreach actions and dealing with inbound leads.
Develops effective strategies to drive sales and revenue growth and coordinates with sales and marketing teams to implement initiatives
Generates, qualifies, and nurtures sales leads and build relationships with prospective clients and partners
Updates the CRM system and suggests CRM process improvements
Prepares business proposals, reports, and presentations for potential clients
Negotiates contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure business deals that align with company goals
Participates with Sales and Product Management to respond to RFIs/RFPs
Works closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure client needs are met
Monitors progress towards business development goals and reports results to management
Uses KPIs to assess the effectiveness of strategies and identifies areas for improvement
Represents the company at conferences and other external events like webinars
Master’s degree in Sales/Business Development
3-5 years of experience in Sales / Business Development within SaaS industry (ideally HR space)
Solid understanding and knowledge of the SaaS Corporate market (HR focus is a plus)
Ability to generate new business and negotiate deals with prospects
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of internal / external audiences to deliver effective responses to prospects
Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and optimize deal conversion
English (verbal & written - C1 Level)
