Job Description

The EA Group Cyber Risk Manager is responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing Cyber Risks across the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments, including IT, business units, and security teams, to ensure that cyber risks are effectively mitigated.

He/she plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization’s digital assets by identifying, assessing, and managing cyber risks. The Cyber Risk Manager ensures that the organization’s cyber risk management strategies are aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

This is a group role so it will also consist in coordinating activities acrros the group and working with local stakeholders to continuously monitor and improve the risk management practices and adapt to the evolving cyber threat landscape

Main Responsibilities :

Cyber Risk Management Group Coordination:

  • Lead the security risk management activities at Europ Assistance group.
  • Implement necessary actions to ensure that the Group meets the required objectives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and local teams to ensure cohesive risk management efforts.

Risk identification and assessment:

  • Collaborate with different departments to identify and evaluate cyber risks.
  • Engage with Business Owners, IT, architects, and Operational Security teams to understand and address potential threats.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security gaps.

Reporting and documentation:

  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of risk management activities.
  • Produce regular reports on managed risks for various committees.
  • Prepare detailed risk assessment reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.


Preferred Experience

Master’s degree in information security or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • 3+ years in similar fields,
  • Experience in Information Security risk management
  • Knowledge of main security risk practices (ISO27005, Ebios & Ebios RM, ISO 31000 or others)
  • Insurance and financial industry experience is a plus
  • Project management skills
  • Relationship building and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Strong presentation skills and experience of influencing at a senior level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fluent English is a must
