The position

Job description

The Product Team is leading the charge in developing the future of B2B payment and Fintecture core offering. If you are ambitious and want to help us shape the future of payments, this role is for you! 🚀

In close relationship with one Senior Product manager and Lead Product Designer, you will be in charge of understanding the purchasing behavior, pain points and needs of our frequent payers, and help define what value Fintecture can develop to make these payers even more loyal. Through the analysis of unstructured and structured transaction data, interviews, performance metrics, you will identify patterns and extract insights shedding light on who our payers are and how they purchasing behavior can be used to develop innovative payment solutions. This is a fundamental project for towards Fintecture vision, where everything is yet to be done. You will thus have the opportunity to make an important and lasting impact on our success.

On top of this core element of your internship, you will support, in relation with our Director of Product Operations, some of our core product analytics tasks.

While this role is mainly analytical, you will have the occasion to work on tasks that are specific to Product managers and impact our product at every stage, from inception to execution.

This role is based out of our Paris office.

Responsibilities 🎯

  • Analyze transaction data to identify purchasing patterns and understand how they can be leveraged to develop innovation payment solutions for our payers

  • Participate to Payer interviews, summarize insights

  • Link qualitative data with quantitative insights to create a compelling and holistic customer understanding

  • Support the Payer Product team in defining, scoping and executing innovation solutions MVP

  • Analysis and monitoring of product launch

  • Definition and setup of our tracking

  • Designing, building and maintaining official dashboards


Preferred experience

  • Currently pursuing/ just completed a master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering or Science.

  • Enjoys working with data and large datasets to create compelling analyses and visualizations

  • Proficient in SQL and/or Python to explore, clean and analyze complex data sets

  • Competency when working with Excel, Google Sheet, Metabase or other data analysis tools to garner insights from data

  • Good business acumen and ability to transform data into actionable insights that generate impact for customers

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment where ownership and impact are highly valued

  • Entrepreneurial drive, genuine curiosity and hands-on mentality

  • Ambitious, results-oriented and target-driven mentality

  • Good English skills, both written and spoken

  • Passion for technology

  • Availability for six months
