GitGuardian is a global post-Series B cybersecurity scale-up. The company is based in Paris, with 130 team members between France and the USA.
Among our early investors who saw our market value proposition, are the co-founder of GitHub, Scott Chacon, along with Solomon Hykes, Docker's co-founder. American and European top-tier VC firms have also invested in GitGuardian.
GitGuardian leads the way in Non-Human Identity security, offering end-to-end solutions from secrets detection in code, productivity tools and environments to strong remediation, observability and proactive prevention of leaks.
Our solutions are already used by more than 600K developers worldwide!
We are looking for an Apprentice to join us and help run IT for our 130+ company. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves technology and working with people and who wants to grow.
You will be managed by our future Head of Security and IT (yet to be recruited), and work closely with our Security Engineer (Maxime) and our Office team (Mathilde, who is responsible for new comers’ onboarding).
While most of the role involves managing systems through a GUI or web interface, we expect you to be able to learn to automate systems by getting hands-on and writing scripts to automate integrations between systems, create AI agents, and do other fun techie stuff.
This is a mostly office-based role, but of course, you will have some flexibility to work remotely. The longer you are with us, the more you will be able to decide when you need to be in the office.
Your day-to-day work will involve helping people with their IT issues (from forgotten passwords and giving them access to systems and tools to solving an issue with their Mac laptop) and working on longer-term projects, which could include automating links between our systems.
Here at GitGuardian, we believe in human potential, and several paths for progression are available, from a full-time IT management role to interning and eventually working in our Engineering teams (Developer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Security Engineer, for example).
If you think you match at least 70% of these criteria, please apply!
We don’t have many hard requirements—you should know your way around MacOS, speak English (the company language), be self-directed, love to learn and help people, be adaptable and up for a challenge, and, of course, be genuinely interested in helping manage the IT hardware and software of a dynamic startup.
It would be great if you also spoke French (as many of our staff are French) and had experience managing fleets of laptops, configuring Single Sign On (SSO) with Okta, and using a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution like Kandji!
We are looking for someone with raw aptitude and potential who can grow in your time with us.
