Our People team mission is to have exceptional people grow in an exceptional environment. We are currently a team of 18 people, split into 3 departments: Talent Acquisition, People Experience and Success and People Operations. You will report to the VP of People and work cross-functionally with all departments heads.
As the People Data Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining data integrity, building and maintaining dashboards, and generating actionable insights to drive data-informed decisions across the People Team organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with SQL, and a passion for using data to tell stories and shape strategies around our most valuable asset—our people.
Data Management & Governance
Own and maintain the People team’s data infrastructure, ensuring all data is accurate, updated, and securely stored.
Implement and monitor data governance standards, ensuring consistency and compliance with privacy regulations.
Manage data integrity and ensure high-quality reporting by establishing audit and validation routines.
2. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Metrics
Track and analyze DEI metrics to monitor progress in recruitment, retention, and promotion.
Build and present regular reports on DEI initiatives and trends to leadership.
Develop benchmarks and visualizations to showcase the impact of DEI initiatives across the organization.
3. People Team Dashboards & Reporting
Design, build, and maintain dashboards for key People metrics, including employee engagement, performance, tenure, PTO usage, promotions, and attrition.
Enable managers to access real-time data and insights about their teams’ performance, development, and well-being.
Identify trends and recommend strategies to address areas of opportunity or concern.
4. Supporting Data-Driven Decision Making
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and translate them into data requirements.
Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Business leaders to deliver insights that guide decision-making and improve employee experience.
Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights, supporting strategic workforce planning and other initiatives.
Find reliable datasets regarding compensation and work hand in hand with our compensation specialist to ensure our salary calculator is accurate.
5. Knowledge Base Management
Ensure the People team’s knowledge base is well-organized, accurate, and up-to-date, making it a valuable resource for both team members and AI-based helpdesk agents.
Work closely with IT and AI teams to optimize knowledge management practices and ensure seamless integration with our AI tools.
3+ years of experience in data analytics or data management, preferably within HR or People Analytics.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with one or more data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
Strong understanding of HR metrics and People data (e.g., retention, engagement, DEI).
Experience with data management best practices and data governance.
Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex data insights in a clear, actionable manner.
Comfortable communicating in English.
