As a experienced Product Owner, you will be part of the R&D team and work closely with the Product Manager team. You will be working on our People Safety applications and platform-related functionality, including data capture, data processing (distributed computing, big data, proprietary databases).

Your role is to define within the deadline the necessary functionalities for the product in order to meet the main needs and USPs (unique selling points) resulting from the product strategy issued by the Product Managers.

A Week in the Life of a experienced Product Owner:

  • Build products that align with the market analysis of Product Managers and the needs of our customers.
  • Collect product feedback and needs (in relation with the Sales team, the Professional Services team and customers).
  • Propose innovative features and ensure their consistency with the product vision.
  • Design simple user interfaces that provide the best possible experience.
  • Prioritize the R&D backlog of features based on business priorities.
  • Ensure that demo platforms are updated and support the key use cases of the applications.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence on competing solutions.
  • Participate in sprint planning with the development team.

Requirements

We are looking for a experienced Product Owner who can handle technical and functional discussions with telecom operators, governement agencies and the technical teams.

  • Collaborate with various departments and customers.
  • Serve as the product advocate for customers, including one or two international trips per quarter.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and information dissemination skills internally and externally.
  • Manage and organize backlog features (creation, refinement, prioritization, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal French and English proficiency.
  • Be organized, structured, and methodical.
  • Demonstrate the ability to grasp business strategies and operational issues.
  • Be proactive and a source of new ideas.
  • Possess good UX design best practices.
  • Collaborate with our UI/UX designers to create ergonomic UIs and provide mockups.
  • Ideally, have a background in civil security products (a plus).
  • Possess knowledge of software product architecture (preferred).
