Our Product team

Joko’s Product team groups the passionate individuals behind our users’ delight! From brainstorming to development to launch, the Product team’s main mission is to turn ideas into reality by working hand-in-hand with the Engineering and Business teams.

Your scope

As VP Product, you will have the critical responsibility of overseeing the entire product strategy and execution at Joko. You will lead and mentor a team of product managers and product designers, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and goals. Your role will involve high-level strategic planning, cross-functional leadership, and driving innovation across all product lines.

What you will do

At Joko, we strongly believe in end-to-end ownership. As VP of Product, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Product Strategy: Define and execute the overall product strategy, aligning it with the company’s mission and business objectives. Lead the development of new product initiatives and the evolution of existing products.

  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, grow, and lead a high-performing product team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Roadmap Development: Oversee the creation and execution of product roadmaps across all product lines, ensuring they align with company goals and market needs.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with C-level executives, engineering, marketing, and business teams to ensure smooth product development and launch processes.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to inform product decisions and maintain Joko’s innovative edge.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and user feedback to drive product decisions and measure success.


Preferred experience

  • Experience: You have 10+ years of full-time experience in Product, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in a fast-growing tech company or consumer tech startup.

  • Location: You are based in France or Spain.

  • Languages: You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in French is a plus but not absolutely required.

  • Strategic Thinking: You have a proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies that drive business growth.

  • Leadership: You have experience building and leading high-performing product teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Technical Acumen: You have a strong understanding of technology and its applications in product development.

  • Business Acumen: You understand the business side of product management and can align product strategy with overall business goals.

  • Innovation: You have a history of driving innovation and bringing new ideas to market successfully.

  • Communication: You have exceptional communication skills and can effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences, from technical teams to C-level executives.
