Full time - London (hybrid remote possible) - from £80k + equity

Kiln is seeking an experienced IT Manager with cybersecurity experience to oversee IT operations, provide technical support, and collaborate with our external security operations (SecOps) function. In this role, you'll lead IT projects, manage infrastructure assets, and support cybersecurity initiatives. Your responsibilities will include IT governance, SaaS platform integration, and oversight of endpoint security, patch management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • IT Operations & Support:

    • Manage day-to-day IT operations, ensuring seamless delivery of IT services across the organization.

    • Maintain IT policies, oversee the Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) process, and document procedures for knowledge management and audit readiness.

    • Provide hands-on support for hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Corporate IT Security:

    • Work closely with SecOps to implement security practices across IT infrastructure.

    • Manage corporate IT security operations, including incident response, vulnerability and patch management, identity and access management (Okta), and endpoint security (CrowdStrike).

    • Support audit compliance and spearhead cybersecurity awareness initiatives.

  • Business Support:

    • Serve as the primary contact for IT-related business needs and technology adoption guidance.

    • Manage IT aspects of vendor relationships and third-party integration, implement SaaS platforms and put in place customized IT solutions for each department.

    • Evaluate new IT solutions and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and security.

Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

    • 5+ years of IT management experience, preferably in fast-paced startup environments.

  • Skills:

    • English fluency with demonstrated project management and cybersecurity expertise.

    • Strong command of modern infrastructure, SaaS solutions, and collaboration platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Notion, etc.).

    • Solid understanding of IAM, endpoint security, zero trust architecture, and MDM platforms; fintech or blockchain experience is advantageous.

  • Certifications:

    • Professional certifications such as ITIL, Okta Certified Admin, or CompTIA Security+ would be beneficial.
