Krones.digital, a digital solutions provider that offers innovative software, consulting, and data-driven services for the beverage, food, and packaging industries has opened a brand-new Digital Hub in Prague, and we are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team!

As a member of our team, you will be part of an international community of technology enthusiasts working on cross-disciplinary projects within our organization. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining cutting-edge cloud-based solutions, contributing to our company's digital transformation.

Your mission at Krones.digital:

  • Developing and maintaining scalable backend software solutions, leveraging cutting-edge software technologies and frameworks.
  • Accompanying our solutions throughout their entire lifecycle - from design and implementation to integration and operation.
  • Applying the latest methods such as Kubernetes on edge as well as deployment architectures for high-performance and fail-safe solutions.
  • Identifying bottlenecks and weaknesses in the infrastructure and development of solutions to improve system stability and security.
  • Interfacing with our international development teams and provide support as needed.
  • Dealing with the latest technologies in the IIoT and cloud environment and use them to ensure that our solutions are always state-of-the-art.
  • All other tasks related to this role.

What are you bringing to Krones.digital?

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the development of platform infrastructures and DevOps tools.
  • Ideally expertise in Python, with 3 years of experience in using cutting-edge Python/GO development tools and frameworks.
  • Proven experience in developing, deploying and managing containers with Docker and familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration and management.
  • Good knowledge of working with Linux systems and tools.
  • Experience in automating build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Knowledge of using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is advantageous.
