The team you will join:

Sitting in the Purchasing department, our team dedicated to purchasing bears a lot of responsibility in the current market situation. Divided into 3 teams (direct, indirect, and projects), they all work together to source and provide L-Acoustics with the best quality resources at the lowest price within the most reasonable time frame possible.

We are looking for a bright project purchasing manager to join the project purchasing team.

What you will contribute to:

Reporting to the Head Of Project Purchasing, the Project Purchasing Manager will be responsible for anticipating innovations likely to meet R&D needs, and for steering and coordinating purchases relating to various new projects, in particular:

  • Participate in the identification and integration of new technologies dedicated to projects.

  • Participate in drafting specifications with the project team (R&D, industrialization and quality teams).

  • Build, upstream, a panel of target suppliers with commodities and ensure the deployment of commodity strategies in projects.

  • Manage supplier integration to optimize quality, costs and lead times.

  • Define and control communication and any exchange of content between project teams and suppliers.

  • Ensure validation of each project milestone relating to suppliers in terms of costs, quality and deadlines.

  • Manage contractual aspects to protect the company's intellectual property.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Master’s degree from an engineering school (general knowledge of electronics, plastic injection, cutting processes…)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a project purchasing expert, or a combination of project management in an industrial setting (methods, industrialization) and a purchasing function

  • Excellent sense of humility, simplicity and partnership: our vision for our suppliers is long term, it is essential to build good relationships with them

  • A business level English proficiency. Other european languages are a plus (French, German…)

  • Ability to forge internal links with R&D, teamwork skills (quality, supply chain, production constraints), project leadership skills

  • Rigor, familiar with financial aspects of project management
