The first important thing for me is that here, know-how is as important as a CV. I'm a systems and network engineer and I started out in the support team for one of our customers. I then joined the operations team with a view to moving into a management role. HR and managers listened to me and together we drew up a plan to achieve my goal. The first step is to have a 'mentor' role to test me in this role and have me assessed by my management. Once the criteria have been validated and the need confirmed, I'll take on this new role. At LMSYS we love to share! This translates into a variety of events throughout the year and on the road. On the professional side, there are kick-off meetings to launch major projects, information meetings (CSR initiatives, annual review) or on technical subjects, delivered internally or by external experts, or team-building events to celebrate the start of the school year or other key moments such as the Christmas lunch. On the more relaxed side, impromptu cake competitions and pancakes at Chandeleur, not to mention the surprise arrival of pastries, are part of our daily routine. We also sometimes watch sporting events, especially when we've sponsored them!
